scream
crying is less destructive
I bow my head to the forest, forgive me in advance.
I’m draped by the trees as the wave rolls through me.
I lift my face up I can’t see the sky.
I can’t contain her anymore.
I open my mouth and scream.
The sound crashes out of me.
Water pours from my eyes Wind escapes from my ears.
Fire ripples all around me trees uprooted mountains split open creatures spill from their recesses making tracks far away from here.
And it goes on and on until I am empty until everything is bare.
I feel the cry of the birds circling their former home.
I’m on my knees amid surrendered trees.
I just cry and cry and cry and cry and cry.
